Interview

We increasingly hear about Yeshurun as one of Israel’s most ambitious movements. So what is Yeshurun ?
The Yeshurun movement aims to establish a societal system consistent with the original vision of Israel; that described in our ancient knowledge: that described in our ancient knowledge. It is centered around the creation of a society of law and justice in the Holy Land. A city of Peace offering to each member of the people the possibility of devoting themselves to their existential function, namely, their spiritual fulfillment as the light of Humanity.
How to tackle a project of this magnitude ?
Yeshurun approaches this change in society through 3 aspects : Social, political and spiritual
The social aspect is characterized by an action that takes place among the people. It is about training individuals and families who wish to do so, to experience a new art of life : a life of autonomy, independence and freedom in the face of power, which has been designed to allow everyone to begin to embody in their daily lives the values of law, justice and peace promoted by our original Zionism.
For this purpose, Yeshurun offers courses, internships and daily training.

What are these teachings about?
How to break free from mass consumption, how to build your own ecological house for 10% of the market price, how to grow organic and free food all year round, how to make your own clothes, learn to practice natural therapies, or any other subject meeting the needs of this new way of life.
The second stage of this change of society consists in gathering men and women who have already been trained in this new life and who wish to experience it in a community. So Yeshurun teaches how to create the necessary institutions for the proper functioning of these communities : local institutions self-managed by the people and independent of any other system.

Do you have examples of institutions that communities ought to create ?
Holistic educational institutions, Training organizations for ethical work, Institutions of management for a fair economy ( local currency, solidarity banks, interest-free loans), centers of prevention and traditional therapies, popular tribunals among other necessary institutions for the organization of this new life together.
This is how, district after district, village after village, city after city, region after region, Yeshurun communities will be able to grow in the Holy Land wherever people are committed to it.

The new society that “Our Ancient Knowledge” describes is spiritual in essence. What about this spiritual aspect within the formations of Yeshurun individuals, families and communities?
Indeed the autonomous living system that we propose is not an end in itself but an optimal societal platform which aims to offer everyone the possibility of devoting themselves to their inner spiritual fulfillment. As the original vision of Israelteaches us , the return of the Hebrews to their lands also heralds our return to an original relationship with the Divine : a direct, integral and eternal relationship therefore leading the entire people to its fulfillment as a potential redemptive shepherd of Humanity.
In order to contribute to this spiritual rebirth, Yeshurun has already created networks of studies and daily spiritual practices available for all. That being said, we are aware that this project must be imperatively supported at the head of the state in order to be accomplished for the entire people.
Then, does Yeshurun also get involved in politics?
This is indeed necessary. Our political branch therefore aims at the governance of the country. We are therefore promoting a program of reforms which will allow the establishment of our new system of society; a system designed in every way to serve as an accomplishment of Israel's ontological project.
Is this program already available ?
Everybody can find it on our website and support our party by becoming a member. Therefore, the power to act is in the hands of everyone.
