The world is dying. Who could ignore it? Overpopulation, unemployment, inequality, poverty, corruption, political and economic crisis, wars, terrorism, nuclear danger, bacteriological risks, widespread pollution and global warming. For the first time, the international community appears unanimous and even seems to agree with the most alarming apocalyptic prophecies.

That being said, beyond the anxiety-inducing nature of this situation, there seems to be hope: indeed, more and more people, disgusted by how our system of society functions, are wondering about the possibility of another way of living... It is in this unprecedented societal context that Yeshurun undertakes its action... by teaching among the people the direction of a new possible life. A life of independence from the system in place, a life of autonomy and perhaps even freedom...

On a daily basis, in the heart of Jerusalem, as well as through our various social networks, courses, internships and training teach:  how to break free from mass consumption, how to make your edible garden for healthy and free food all year round, build your natural house for 10 percent of the market price, make your clothes, make natural therapies based on wild plants, and any other subject that meets our vital needs.

Once trained individually in this new art of life, Yeshurun also teaches the means of embodying it in community. The goal is to learn how to create small institutions capable of organizing together our lives of autonomy; institutions self-managed by the people and of course independent of any other political system. 

Creation of artisan cooperative enterprises offering exclusively ecological, ethical and fair products and services / Institution of a social economy, with, among other things, local currencies, solidarity banks and interest-free loans / Institution for conflict management and civil courts / Holistic school institution to offer our children the tools for a life project based on the question of meaning / Health institution through prevention and natural care / and so on for all institutions necessary for the organization of this new life together.

Thus, district after district, village after village, city after city, region after region, the Yeshurun communities will be able to develop in the Holy Land wherever the people are committed to it. In doing so, Yeshurun will demonstrate that a new system of society is achievable now… at the national level.

A system of society working in full consciousness to re-establish the ontological identity of Israel; to build in Zion the first true society of law, of justice and Peace. An exemplary city working to safeguard and awaken all humanity...
